Where in the World...
am I? I know that is what people must be asking. Don't worry. I didn't trip and fall into some deep hole somewhere. I'm still alive. Just insanely busy with a lot of personal things. And sadly, the blog has to suffer till things settle. But the knitting sure doesn't. Erin's Clapotis is finally finished. I did this for a trade with permission from the pattern writer. It's Elliebelly's Melted Crayon. Perfect choice for this pattern.

Rain Rain...
Go away. I mean, I know England means rain. But does it have to be so dark? It's a photographer's nightmare. The sun already sets at 4 pm. I only get a few hours of good light as it is. And you Mr Rain Cloud took it away. Poo on you. I guess it's time to really give in and build that lightbox.
Anyways...no new knit photos just yet. But a bunch are coming in the next few days! Also did I mention, we've got a facebook page now too? I'm still trying to balance posting on there and here but join over there. I'll be posting updates more as soon as K&F starts stocking again!

Food Food Food
I've been baking up a storm, I've been watching Julie & Julia (awesome movie by the way), and I've been preparing for a Christmas feast. So of course, my knitting involves food too.

Meet Munki Sushi part deux!
After seeing how this knit up, I'm a bit tempted to frog dear K's longies and make my own set for myself!

Bad Bad Blogger
I know. I know. Judge me. I've been so busy finishing up customs and dealing with my oldest's health issues, I just have let this poor blog suffer. But no more!! I swear on my favorite yarn to try and post twice a week. Hold me to it people!

Lots of News!
First the little stuff...our customs list is now closed. I will be shutting down for the month of January because my husband leaves for deployment then. Once we are all settled and back in the states visiting my family in February, I'll start taking on names from the wait list. If you would like to be put on the wait list, just shoot me an email. Also, our blog is about to take on a nice new look. I've got someone working on a new header and I'll be customizing the blog to match it. Keep an eye out for it in the next few days!
On the home front...My oldest son Evan is doing much better. We've been working with him and doing a sort of sensory diet. He's a much sweeter child, using more syllables instead of just screaming, and he's eaten three new foods this week! We were so happy we cried at points. It may seem silly to a parent of a "regular" child but when your almost three year old can't even say 5 words, each syllable is a war won.
And the biggest news of all....Amour Tricoté is now a licensed WonderWAHM!! I just received my license approval for the Wonderpants pattern this morning. I'm so excited to start offering longies and shorties from this pattern to my customers and can't wait to see all the beauties I'll get to create with it.
